Opened my exhibition "Out of Place" on Saturday night at the Customs House, South Shields. It was a good night and it was so nice to see so many people there supporting me. I definitely felt the love! I must say it was a bit of a strange experience, having never had a solo exhibition before. I've been part of group shows before but this was all me and it felt very exposing, there is nowhere to hide when it's all your own work! But I am proud of the work and hope a few people get in to see it.

Big thanks to the Customs House and especially Rory Williams for putting the exhibition on and expertly curating it. And thanks to all who made it to the opening especially my family Lynda and the kids for all their support!
